SAFE Project

SAFE Project logoThe Support and Advocacy for Everyone (SAFE) Project seeks to strengthen campus-wide trauma-informed response in order to provide seamless and consistent support to students and staff experiencing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

The SAFE Project is supported through the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Violence Against Women Campus Program Grant.

Coordinated Community Response Team

The SAFE Project is carried out by the Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT). The 博彩网站 CCRT is a multidisciplinary team of campus and community partners working to reduce domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking through a comprehensive approach to prevention, education, and responsive support.

Prevention

We provide prevention programming & awareness events for the 博彩网站 community.

Conduct

We develop clear protocols, policies, and procedures for campus response.

Victim Services

We offer free and confidential advocacy and counseling to students and employees.

Law Enforcement

We provide training to strengthen trauma-informed law enforcement response.

CCRT membership includes the following campus and community partners, and new members are welcome to join on an ongoing basis.

Prevention

The SAFE Project provides prevention programming for 博彩网站 students and employees through a variety of programs and events throughout the year. Programming includes mandatory online training for students, bystander intervention training, and #博彩网站WeCan, an initiative seeking to engage the 博彩网站 community in the shared work of preventing sexual and relationship violence.

Response

The SAFE Project seeks to strengthen campus response to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking by training student conduct staff, Campus Police, and other College employees and by providing free and confidential victim services to students and employees.
